The overall reviews of Silentnight mattresses were very good and most consumers who purchased them were quite pleased even after more than two years of use.  With this information it would appear that they, in fact, use high density memory foam and latex foam in their padding.  Their Miracoil spring system is unique and lives up to it’s promise to minimize motion and to provide support where it is needed.  There was no information on coil count provided.

As consumers become more sophisticated and knowledgeable, adverts become less effective.  Many consumers are seeking facts rather than appeals to their emotions.  As the leader in the UK mattress market, it would be nice if Silentnight provided more information about the construction of their very nice mattresses so consumers could, if they wanted, make a more informed decision.

The most common complaint about Silentnight mattresses was the price.  However, it should be noted that their prices are comparable to other quality mattresses made by their competitors.  Quality mattresses are not inexpensive.  Since the reviewers were quite satisfied with the performance of the mattresses and with their comfort, it can be inferred that they received good value for their money.  Most indicated they would buy another Silentnight mattress.
